Meanwhile back in Vancouver. I took good vacation photos, let's not waste them.
On my first day in Vancouver I was a bit overwhelmed. You'll remember I had spent the last four hours wrestling Adriene's socks back from my seatmate who was not a "mate" at all. Demanding knitwear from the person sitting next to you is not mate behavior it's more boorish.
Anyways once we got my knitting safely installed at the hotel and got me fed. We took a long walk along the seawall past the Olympic torch.
I think those were the most recent Olympics we watched. It was interesting because it was one of the few opening ceremonies I've watched. I remember those torches coming to life.
Down the seawalk are the seaplanes. We stood and watched a few of them take off.
I'd had my fill of planes by that time and we continued our walk back to the hotel. We took the long way back. I don't much care for big cities so there are no pictures. Well that and I was super tired by this point. And excited for the ferry ride the next day and meeting Adriene.
I'll leave you with that cliffhanger.
I like the sea planes. They are probably the most comfortable plane I've been on. Well, on a calm day, anyway!
